I upgraded to Office 2007, but then I wasn't able to open any word documents, no matter if they were old or new. Office 2003 Service Pack when i try to open, it says "not available" what should i do? You could, of course, ask your friends to save their files in the older format.
It WAS a registry file for the file associations for .doc and .docx files.

Did you upgrade from office 2003 to office 2007? If needed, click Close. In the folder list, locate and open the folder that contains the workbook. There is no charge to download it and there is no charge to use it.
