please respond and keep this post going until problem is fixed.. While setting up the laptop and iPhone ready for the Apple rep to call, it worked! Rename theSyncServices folder found at C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\AppleComputer to SyncServices_Old 3.
Started having the syncing problem after updating to iOS5.

When I renamed the folder, nothing's changed. Phone syncs when I plug it in without a delay.
