I tried all the mentioned things, but nothing helped. The same component was lost in my case. Windows Cannot Access Error Code 0x80004005

I was having a similar problem on a new laptop (Toshiba) with Windows 7 Home Premium using wifi. Now, I wonder why it dissapeared in the first place! NAS and printer are working fine so I haven’t got a clue when or how the 'Client for Microsoft Networks' got uninstalled on the desktop system.
