For some reason if you have previously saved in .docx, then decide to change to .doc then you wont be able to open any of your old saves! If you know what types of files are embedded in the file, you can probably deduce which file is which by the size of the file. The recipient doesn't have Foxit PhantomPDF, so the error occurs.
